His lectures on universal spiritual truths are designed to recognize the innate divinity of all individuals so they may utilize the power and creativity of their consciousness in manifesting the best life has to offer.

whiteRev. Marcia White

Rev. Marcia White is a minister, life-coach and spiritual counselor, but most of all she is a master teacher whose greatest passion is to see everyone realize the highest possibility for their lives. All paths have led Marcia to this moment of sharing. A natural teacher, she is excited by the inquisitive and divine nature in us all and seeks to bring us understanding of our internal power. She teaches that power is a natural unlimited asset and is available to everyone. Genuine power comes from the Spirit within you, as you. When we learn to access the power within us, we can co-create our lives according to our deepest desires. During her 27-year career with diverse world cultural groups in the museum field, particularly at the American Museum of Natural History, and through her international travels, Marcia came to recognize how the oneness of Source is interwoven everywhere and through everything. Later, she formally studied truth at the Barbara King School of Ministry where she was ordained as a New Thought Minister and a Spiritual Counselor. She directed the Continuing Spiritual education program at Hillside International Truth Center for 8 years. Currently, she delivers Sunday messages and teaches spiritual empowerment courses at several New Thought Spiritual Centers in the Atlanta area. She is also a board member at the Trinity Center for Spiritual Living.

dan2Dan Burns

When I began my Science of Mind classwork in 1985, I had no intention of becoming a Prayer Practitioner. However, after completing the first two years of classwork, I was still hungry for more knowledge and training.  I obtained my license as a Religious Science Practitioner in 1990.  It is always a joy for me to work with those who request Affirmative Prayer.  I often feel that I have experienced additional growth and understanding as I offer my prayer for others.

karen bKaren Beard

Karen Beard, RScP, is a Native Atlanta and a Practitioner at the Trinity Center for Spiritual Living. She was introduced to the Science of Mind (SOM) teaching almost 10 years ago, but quickly learned that this had really been her heart’s beliefs for much of her life. She just didn’t know it had a name until that time. Karen has always been a keen student of comparative philosophies and finds that SOM encourages expansion of thought and spiritual inquiry.  She is a member of the Board at TCSL, leads meditations and assists during services.  She has spoken at other Spiritual Living Centers, led some classes at TCSL and practices Mindfulness Based Meditation.

Karen is a widow and mother of one daughter.  She loves books, history, all types of music, travel and has an insatiable curiosity about the world, in general.  She also believes that you stay younger if you remember to give yourself and others around you permission to play and find things to make you laugh.

chrisChris Wood

Chris is a Science of Mind Practitioner with many years devoted to new-thought teachings. She was raised in the Christian Science Church, spent five years in Unity, was a student of A Course In Miracles for 15 years, and found SOM with Kennedy Schultz at the Woodruff Auditorium. Now she is a Board member, avid class-taker, and administrative assistant at Trinity Center for Spiritual Living. Chris delights in antiques, home projects, estate sales, and doting on her first grandchild, Daniel.

I originally started taking SOM classes for personal understanding and growth with no intentions of becoming a Practitioner. After taking practitioner classes and working with others I enjoyed using my connection to the Divine to assist others to realize their connection and power. It is pleasure to serve the members and friends of the Trinity Center for spiritual Living.

I have been a Reiki Master for several years after studying with Dian Peters and have consistently served with the TCSL team in offering Reiki to the congregants during our regular schedule.  This has been valuable in my own growth as my ability to sense energy and become an open vessel after the attunements at each of the levels.  Additionally, I am a licensed Science of Mind practitioner after several years of classes.  A friend gave me This Thing Called You in 1978 and I found the writings of Ernest Holmes to be so insightful that I pursued learning more as each opportunity arose.  The classes with the associated discussions, exercises and guidance gave me insight in applying the SOM principles in my own life.  It has been an honor to be able to offer both affirmative prayer and direct and remote Reiki to so many others over the years.  I am most grateful for this opportunity.

Searching for ways to open up my intuitive abilities, I became a Reiki practitioner in 1992 and have been on the path of a healer every since.  I became a Reiki Master in 1994 and continued my training as a healer by adding the Silva Method, Reconnective Healing™ and Guided Meditation into my skills bank.  I perform bio-field assessments and treatments by allowing the Divine to decide the best source of energy for my clients and being a channel for that energy.  I use my intuitive skills to help others heal through energy sessions and intuitive readings.  Trinity Center for Spiritual Living is not only my spiritual home, it is also where I offer my intuitive healing services.
