Welcome Home

The Trinity Center for Spiritual Living is a dynamic spiritual community dedicated to teaching and practicing a powerful spirituality that inspires us to live our dreams. We are a center where people are nourished, lifted, and filled with compassion, creativity and joy.

The Trinity Center for Spiritual Living is a diverse, “not your-usual church.” We provide a great place for those who are looking to connect with God/Higher Power/Spirit/Universal Presence, in a loving and “feel good atmosphere.” Though we celebrate age-old spiritual traditions from around the world, our message and delivery are modern and down to Earth. So relax, have fun, and look around – chances are you’ll see people just like you, whether it’s at one of our services, community outreach services, in house gatherings or partying at the Rev.’s.

whiteRev. Marcia White

Rev. Marcia White is a minister, life-coach and spiritual counselor, but most of all she is a master teacher whose greatest passion is to see everyone realize the highest possibility for their lives. All paths have led Marcia to this moment of sharing. A natural teacher, she is excited by the inquisitive and divine nature in us all and seeks to bring us understanding of our internal power. She teaches that power is a natural unlimited asset and is available to everyone. Genuine power comes from the Spirit within you, as you. When we learn to access the power within us, we can co-create our lives according to our deepest desires. During her 27-year career with diverse world cultural groups in the museum field, particularly at the American Museum of Natural History, and through her international travels, Marcia came to recognize how the oneness of Source is interwoven everywhere and through everything. Later, she formally studied truth at the Barbara King School of Ministry where she was ordained as a New Thought Minister and a Spiritual Counselor. She directed the Continuing Spiritual education program at Hillside International Truth Center for 8 years. Currently, she delivers Sunday messages and teaches spiritual empowerment courses at several New Thought Spiritual Centers in the Atlanta area. She is also a board member at the Trinity Center for Spiritual Living.

dan2Dan Burns

When I began my Science of Mind classwork in 1985, I had no intention of becoming a Prayer Practitioner. However, after completing the first two years of classwork, I was still hungry for more knowledge and training.  I obtained my license as a Religious Science Practitioner in 1990.  It is always a joy for me to work with those who request Affirmative Prayer.  I often feel that I have experienced additional growth and understanding as I offer my prayer for others.

annfaithAnn Faith Harris

Ann Faith considers her life a ministry.  Whether she is serving as a practitioner intern, performing musical artist, teacher, social justice activist or government executive, Ann Faith is committed to the expansion of love, peace, harmony, healing and creative self-expression as a reflection of her divinity and oneness with Source.  Ann Faith is excited and grateful for the opportunity for her continued spiritual growth as a metaphysician and desires to use Spiritual Principles as well as Affirmative Prayer to increase Goodness for all creation.

My spiritual journey is a testimony to seek, and you shall find, or, what you are looking for is looking for you. At 12 I began to read Guidepost magazine, a seed planted, and a determination to really know how God could exist in my life and be all I’d heard I could be and accomplish. As an adult, I began to read and study new thought teachings that lead to Ernest Holmes Science of Mind and Emma Curtis Hopkins High Mysticism.  I read the SOM every day for four consecutive years when it became evident I wanted everyone to become the person(s) God created them to be, whole and healed.  To help people I love as God loves and to assist people receive their healing from all things like God, is my answer to the call to become a Prayer and Reiki Practitioner.  I am supporting, loving and healing in my working with those on the path to spiritual growth.

chrisChris Wood

Chris is a Science of Mind Practitioner with many years devoted to new-thought teachings. She was raised in the Christian Science Church, spent five years in Unity, was a student of A Course In Miracles for 15 years, and found SOM with Kennedy Schultz at the Woodruff Auditorium. Now she is a Board member, avid class-taker, and administrative assistant at Trinity Center for Spiritual Living. Chris delights in antiques, home projects, estate sales, and doting on her first grandchild, Daniel.

I originally started taking SOM classes for personal understanding and growth with no intentions of becoming a Practitioner. After taking practitioner classes and working with others I enjoyed using my connection to the Divine to assist others to realize their connection and power. It is pleasure to serve the members and friends of the Trinity Center for spiritual Living.

karen bKaren Beard

Karen Beard, RScP, is a Native Atlanta and a Practitioner at the Trinity Center for Spiritual Living. She was introduced to the Science of Mind (SOM) teaching almost 10 years ago, but quickly learned that this had really been her heart’s beliefs for much of her life. She just didn’t know it had a name until that time. Karen has always been a keen student of comparative philosophies and finds that SOM encourages expansion of thought and spiritual inquiry.  She is a member of the Board at TCSL, leads meditations and assists during services.  She has spoken at other Spiritual Living Centers, led some classes at TCSL and practices Mindfulness Based Meditation.

Karen is a widow and mother of one daughter.  She loves books, history, all types of music, travel and has an insatiable curiosity about the world, in general.  She also believes that you stay younger if you remember to give yourself and others around you permission to play and find things to make you laugh.

JackieJackie Smith

Jackie is an open compassionate, inspiring Spiritual Life Coach, Religious Science Practitioner and Radical Forgiveness Coach who understands that life is a spiritual journey.  She began to study new thought principles and metaphysics in 1978 after her Religion 101 professor gave an assignment to research a different Spiritual path than the one she grew up in.  This led to a book entitled New Thought Christian.  The teachings were so different from what she knew and lead her to a new perspective on who she was and new way of being in the world. It is Jackie’s pleasure to support those who want to realize their connection to the Divine Presence and to remember that we are “Our Own Healing Balm” empowered with the life tools to be successful in this journey. She loves books, Ancient African cultures and travel.

As a Practitioner I dedicate myself to the study and practice of Universal Principals, sharing my knowledge and treating for myself and others. As I embody the Truth of Who I am I know the Truth of everyone I encounter. alomaAloma Sibley

I have been a Reiki Master for several years after studying with Dian Peters and have consistently served with the TCSL team in offering Reiki to the congregants during our regular schedule.  This has been valuable in my own growth as my ability to sense energy and become an open vessel after the attunements at each of the levels.  Additionally, I am a licensed Science of Mind practitioner after several years of classes.  A friend gave me This Thing Called You in 1978 and I found the writings of Ernest Holmes to be so insightful that I pursued learning more as each opportunity arose.  The classes with the associated discussions, exercises and guidance gave me insight in applying the SOM principles in my own life.  It has been an honor to be able to offer both affirmative prayer and direct and remote Reiki to so many others over the years.  I am most grateful for this opportunity.

I began my Reiki training in the summer of 2007 with Dian Peters at the Trinity Center for Spiritual Living. We practice each week offering Reiki treatment and learning through practice and instruction.  On February 24, 2008, I completed Level 1 of my Reiki training. I continued learning at Trinity by offering Reiki after Sunday service with other students and Masters level practitioners.  After more than two years of practicing and continued learning, I became a Reiki Master.  I have served on the Reiki team from its formation loving every minute of service.  I thank God for the beautiful souls that make our team so powerful and a privilege to serve others.

Searching for ways to open up my intuitive abilities, I became a Reiki practitioner in 1992 and have been on the path of a healer every since.  I became a Reiki Master in 1994 and continued my training as a healer by adding the Silva Method, Reconnective Healing™ and Guided Meditation into my skills bank.  I perform bio-field assessments and treatments by allowing the Divine to decide the best source of energy for my clients and being a channel for that energy.  I use my intuitive skills to help others heal through energy sessions and intuitive readings.  Trinity Center for Spiritual Living is not only my spiritual home, it is also where I offer my intuitive healing services.

Make an IMPACT through Sacred Service

You have gifts to give, talents to share, and new things to learn. Trinity Center for Spiritual Living needs you to share your service in a positive, loving, and spiritually growing environment. Everyone in our community carries a piece of the vision. Which piece are you carrying?

One of our five spiritual practices is Sacred Service. Offering our Sacred Service is both a way to make a significant contribution to the community that feeds us spiritually and also to engage in a spiritual discipline that awakens us to the greater truth of our own being.

BE OF SACRED SERVICE by becoming a Volunteer at the Trinity Center for Spiritual Living

Make an impact within our community and find belonging and connection. Give of yourself through one or more of our Sacred Service Ministry Councils. These teams help with the tasks necessary to provide for the maintenance and administration of the Center as well as those that help with services to the community at large.

It is an honor to find a place of service that fits your spiritual path. Let us support your desire to be involved in sacred service. Volunteers are always needed to assist with many facets of the Center’s operation. Please contact the Center’s Administrator, Chris Wood at tcslsecretary@yahoo.com to practice Sacred Service for the Trinity Center for Spiritual Living.
